I Found Love

I started my journey in this world

With loneliness on my soul

I could no longer see the beauty of the sun

For I have spent my whole life to run

I could no longer hear the harmony of melody

For I have drowned myself deeply in my own serenity

Until one day, my whole world did change

The beating alarm of my heart spontaneously rang

I did finally meet him in one cherished occasion

My gut unswervingly telling me to join our hearts under one nation

I always believe that love is one intermittent entity to be found

But not again, for now I have found love in the way he laughs

At first I thought I heard an angel’s voice, but I was wrong

It’s just his laughter filling the empty space on my mind

I also found love in the way he gazes

I thought I saw a twinkling shiny star, but I was wrong

It’s just his dazzling eyes flying me to the seventh sky

I never dreamed to find such love

Love of an ordinary me to a wonderful him

Love of an ordinary me to a heavenly beautiful him

Love of an ordinary me to an utterly perfect him

O, God, please forgive me for I can’t stop loving him

This poem has been in my so-called "collection of poems" folder in my laptop for quite sometimes. I have submitted it to a zine, but unfortunately my work could not make it to the selection stage. However, I really want to publish this poem somehow; that is why I decided to publish it here. Hope you guys enjoy it!
